SMALL COSMETICS HAUL!

Like I’ve mentioned before, you can look stylish with your cosmetics without breaking your bank account! Today, I hit up two of my (most recent) favorite places for non-expensive glam: Walgreens & Walmart. I also have a thing for CVS too =P

Walgreens is a very nifty place to shop for makeup, especially if you’re a beginner and just starting to build your cosmetic collection. Most all Walgreens’ cosmetic sections have some sort of Buy 1 Get 1 Free or Buy 1 Get 1 50% Off sales. I especially love this because most products I buy are already non-expensive to begin with, and after the sale it’s even better! Today I picked up these items:

1) Milani Pressed Powder compact in Beige: usually I don’t wear this brand or shade, but it was on clearence for $.87! So, I’m going to “make it work”. This compact usually runs between $5-7.00 !

2) InColor by Jordana Pretty Shine Luxury Gloss (Cute): I love Jordana products. Color payoff is great an it’s non-expensive. This gloss smells sooo good! Something fruity like strawberries. It has tons of shimmer without the gritty feeling of glitter! Way nicer than CoverGirl’s Wetslicks glosses. Only $.99 (and that’s NOT clearence!)

3) Jane Eyeshadow Compact in Angel: I’ve been wanting to try this for awhile. My first brand of makeup when I started wearing it was Jane so I am a real jane girl! Anyhow, it comes with 8 shadow shimmer shades, a mirror, and 2 double ended sponge applicators. The colors are (top to bottom) Sungloss, Perfection, White Lies, Cloud Nine, Riviera, Hi Ho Silver, Dazzle, Clubbing. So far I’ve tried the Sungloss and White lies and they seem to have the same color payoff even though the look different in the palette =\ Other than that I like it! It only cost me about $5.00. I’ll do a look with this sooner or later.

4)Maybelline Airbrush Natural Finish Liquid Mousse and Dream Matte Mousse Powder: This is my holy grale of foundations! Both where in a combo set for $8! Usually it will cost around eight bucks a piece! Unfortunately, they didn’t have my usual shade, so I picked up something close to it just because I was running out =\ However, it works just as well! It makes my skin look a shade lighter than my original, but not ashy white. Now that’s my kind of product! You can get grab this at Walmart while the duo is still on sale <3
